Skywatch Friday -Ta Phrom- Cambodia

This is one of the famous ancient temples around Angkor Wat called Ta Phrom. It is famous for the old trees growing right around and on top of the temple. I just love this big old tree climbing over the temple and reaching for the blue skies above...

Have a great weekend!!

  1. Although we're still stuck in Thursday - I appreciate the your Skywatch Friday. Isn't that where they filmed Tom Raider? Looks very familiar. And way cool, too!

  22. Sorry it has been so long. I have been lost in the blog wash and on vacation. I do drop by occasionally for a look at your photos without leaving comment. Your are undoubtedly the best photographer I've run across yet. If I could find an award that meant something I would send it your way. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the images. Pappy

  32. That's an interesting angle on Ta Phrom. Like most other folks, I've always stepped back to try to get as much of the tree and surrounding building in the picture. Next time...

On the other hand, it's always difficult to get a picture of the tree without getting tour group members in the picture as well.
