Since my entire data bank of photos are still in jeopardy, my only new photos are of my family. This is my daughter, Kayla....
The Drobo nightmare continues, but I am going to try a third party data recovery program called, Data Rescue 3...I have read that it has been successful in recovering data. Before I use it though, I have to buy a couple of new external drives so that there is a place for the data to go if it can be recovered. That will take me a few days...so, in the meantime, I can post some old favorite photos this week....I still have on another drive all my "blog sized" photos that I have used on this blog...do you mind a few repeats this week until I can hopefully recover my photos?

She's lovely - looks like her mother. So sorry to hear of your data situation. I hope you get it figured out pronto.
Gorgeous girl !
Fingers are crossed for your data situation here.
I went to using multiple external hard drives after a lightning strike very close to the house fried my PC here a few years back. I was extremely fortunate that only the power supply got grilled, and not the hard drive itself, so recovery was possible. Ever since I keep three separate backups. Paranoid I guess...
What a 'Cutie' she is. A Daddy's pic to be proud of.
You're a lucky man, Scotty. Kayla is just precious.

hey scotty sorry to hear about your drobo. i dropped my maxtor (just a mere 50cm) from my bed some time ago and lost all my data. (thousands of songs, photos and etc) and couldnt eat and sleep for weeks. i try looking for a recovery company and it cost me a lil less than USD1,000 just to recover part of the files. no quarantee from the "experts" though. so in the end, i decided just to loose all my travel photos. im hoping for the best on your side..
Cute as a bug! :D
Oh no... your poor photos! I lost a bunch last year when my computer crashed and sadly, they were not recoverable. Thankfully I had saved to disk one particular set of photos that were especially important to me, but it was still a difficult loss. Sigh.
I really hope you can recover your files!!
