A Return to My Favorite Beach

Years ago, I took a photo of a lone palm tree over this beach (CLICK HERE for that photo)...

I took a walk on the same beach to re-visit that tree. I went to the very spot, and the tree was no longer there...I am pretty sure it is the tree trunk you see in the foreground of this photo...it was a sad moment, but life goes on...

In its place is another palm tree reaching for the ocean...I am sure the next time I return, it too will fall into the sea...

It seems like the tree would be too heavy to have grown that length without falling. Beautiful beach

It's one of the dashing sight when you are on a beach like this. Don't worry about the Coconut Tree. It looks like that because it has been awashed by a sea storm. That's all the explanation I can offer because I lived in a place like that once in my childhood life. This picture is really magnificent. Can't you see the Glory of the Maker? Look at the clouds alone! The simmering light of the sun kissing the face of the sea. Wow, am dreaming into poesy again!

Very interesting about the tree and its replacement. Should be interesting to know what happens the next time you come around there. What was the time span from when you saw the tree? Was it a year or a few months? Couple of years?

Beautiful beach.
