Not sure what these things are, but I thought they were cool. I took some photos of them during the day, but had to come back at night to see them again...

Oh, those are interesting. Are they made from glass? Plastic? Are they permanent or part of a festival?

Yes, shooting them at night was the way to go. It's art that glows in the dark! Love it. And it's beautiful against the cityscape background, too.
