I was getting tired of posting photos from Jakarta...time for an underwater photo...
This is actually an older photo that I took with my film camera a few years ago...took it with Fuji Velvia...remember that great film??
We had an earthquake today in Jakarta...well, the epicenter was some four hours away in Western Java, but we felt it well here...very strange sensation if you have never felt one before. Apparently it was a 7.0 quake...I hope those near Tasikmalaya (near the epicenter) are all ok...
He aint pretty, but still a very cool lookin' fish...you can find them in Sargasm Weed floating on the surface...

I heard about an earthquake in Indo & was checking to see if you & your family are safe?!
Thanks, Tricia...we are fine...I wrote about the earthquake on my family blog...it was quite the tremor...
This is quite exotic! Glad you are all safe!

7.0 is huge. Glad to hear you are all safe and sound.
Cool looking little critter here.
Wow - that's a big earthquake!
The only earthquake I've ever felt was one that happened far out in the Pacific - we just got a teeny tremor. I've been in a tornado though. There is just something spooky about a green sky and cars sliding sideways on the road. ;)
What do you use to cover your camera underwater... or do you have a special camera? I've looked into underwater containers, but they make me nervous (what if my poor camera drowns? - I'd be lost)!
Scary look!
Isn't he gorgeous! I love photos underwater.
