The Flat Iron Building In NYC

I just love this building...I saw it on the tourist map, and it was not too far from where I was staying, so I braved the cold and walked to the building, and then stopped at B&H Photo Super Store on the way back...THAT place is incredible, by the way...B&H Photo...every photographer should go there at least once in a lifetime...a dream world.

Anyway, this is again a 5-shot HDR hand held...I then converted to Black n White using the Black and White adjustment layer in PS...I wanted to use Nik's Silver Effex Pro, but the copy I bought at B&H Photo cracked when I made my trip back to Indonesia...I am now waiting for my replacement copy from Nik Software...I have heard such great things about that plug-in, and can't wait to try it out....

Which of these do you like best?

Great shot of the building. Ummm... I like both versions. You certainly got around in that cold weather. ;-)

They're both excellent. Each one leads the eye in different directions to different areas.

I want not approve on it. I think nice post. Specially the title-deed attracted me to read the whole story.

Nobody has made a definite choice, but the black & white looks like it was taken many many years ago & is a beautiful image - The color is pretty, but I'm sold on the b&w! Awesome
