I Have the Nikon D800 For a Week

A good friend of mine just got his D800 from a contact he has in Singapore. Everyone else around here is still on the waiting list to get one...I am not sure Nikon can keep up with the orders.

In any case, my friend Edward, brought the camera to me today to try out this week and this weekend. Also in the bag is the epic Nikon 14-24mm wide angle lens to give a try and the Pro 24-70mm.

I haven't read anything on the internet comparing the M9 and the D800, so maybe I will be writing the first comparison...let me check the camera out this week, and then next week, I will write a short review. My review will not be full of scientific specs, though...as Steve Huff says, "it will be a REAL WORLD review"...so, until later...

Oh, what fun for you to try it out, Scotty. Will you be able to let it go, though?

Looks like a very fun camera. (Hi Scotty!! Waves from Wyoming USA) Stopped by to see what you and your family have been up to and as usual, you did not disappoint. Love the vibrant, beautiful colors of your photography. (and the puppies in the corner of this image :)
Glad you are feeling better ~

Very disturbing to see these puppies tied up like this with no food, water or shelter.
