The Bajai is an icon in Jakarta. There was a move some time back to get rid of them because they are loud, slow, and pollution machines...but somehow they have survived the test of time, and still wander the streets. I like them, and Jakarta would not be the same without them...

Love this photo and I love the Bajais. When I was in India loved running around in the Indian version. Great photo, I guess the Leica M9 helps!!! Carla
I suppose, getting rid of them would be like getting rid of yellow cabs in NYC, huh? As you wrote, the city wouldn't be the same without them. Nice shot.
