One of my favorite things to do in Jakarta is to get up early and watch all the action down at the pier...these sailing ships are incredible....

I'm with you on that ships being very interesting!
Reminded me of the vessels used by the Portuguese when we sailed the seven seas.
Great colourful scene.This would be a great place to spend the day. The schooners are so much more interesting than the modern cargo ships. I think the man in the yellow shirt having a break is the same one in yesterdays post?
That's an interesting angle - Are the front of them jacked up or something? Why is the bow so high?
