I thought I would do something a little different this week for Skywatch Friday...a black and white image...why not? This is one of my favorite places to visit on vacation...it was completely devastated after the Tsunami in 2004, but has since recovered...
Have a great Weekend, and be sure to take a trip around the world to see other skywatch photos by clicking on Tom's link to the right...

OH wow that is great shot and the color...
Beautiful photo for SWF. I love the waters around Phi Phi islands. They are so clear and blue. The tsunami is really very sad. Have a nice weekend.
This looks like something that should be hanging on a wall somewhere. Very nice.
This is so unusual! I really like it...It is so different and I like that!! Great job!
simply stunning!
Wow - love this! Did you use Photoshop? Very, very nice!
After so many colour photos, this monochrome is just wonderful. It accentuates the clouds and lends mystry to the landscape, like something one imagines for Lord of the Rings. Just great!
Great Photo - Please stop by and check out my blog. Iowa Nature Photos will now be a photo blog with no caption or commentary. I do not have the time to dedicate to my blog that I have in the past but would still like to post photos. I hope that you will continue to support my blog in the future.
Stunning Scotty.. :O)
Scotty: Sorry to have missed you on my special Sky Watch week. I always enjoy your photos but this one is so stark compared to your usual bright colorful ones. I'd like to see this in color to compare. Maybe I'm just a colorful guy. LOL
