Lee Westwood Comes to Jakarta

It is not often the Asian tour comes through Indonesia. I am not sure why not either. We do have some awesome golf courses here. So, today was the final round of the President's Invitational Golf Tournament, and Lee Westwood along with some other Asian tour stars were here to show their stuff...and I must say, it was incredible watching them. Check behind Westwood to the right, and you see Butch "ooing and wowing" his drive...

Lee Westwood marks his ball on one of the greens he birdied...

Westwood brought his own caddie with him. The other Asian Tour guys used the local female caddies from Damai Indah Golf Club...

Westwood and his caddie peer down the 18th fairway, a par five. Westwood hit the green on his second shot, and sunk the putt for eagle to put him in third place...

Pagusan (sorry, don't know his first name), from the Philippines, won the tournament. He was playing in the same group with Westwood. At the 18th, he was one stroke back. He had to eagle the hole to win the tournament. The first guy in the group hit his ball short of the green into the water, Westwood hit his about 29 feet from the pin, and then this guy hit his ball about 12 feet from the pin, and sunk the eagle putt to win the tournament. It was a pretty sweet finish, and we were there to see it live. Very cool.
