Back in Pokhara

We were sitting at breakfast when a car drove by with loudspeakers announcing something. We asked the waiter what he was saying, and he said that there was a big soccer game between Nepal and Bangladesh. We asked the waiters if we could go with them to the game, and they were happy to escort us.

It was a pretty cool experience. The stands were packed. We thought we were going to see the two national teams play, but as it turns out, it was two clubs...the Nepalese Police club, and some club from Bangladesh. We started to cheer for Nepal, but then when the Bangladesh team came out to the field (shown below), everyone gave them a big cheer, and our waiters told us, "I think we will be cheering for Bangladesh because no-one likes the police"

Pretty funny...

Not your everyday concession stand...hotdogs? I don't think so...

I wonder what this kid is thinking...on the bus...
